Arriva by rail
Arriva has a wealth of knowledge and experience in operating train services. Now Arriva operates train services in six European countries:
In the United Kingdom:
- Arriva Train Wales offers rail connections from Manchester to Birmingham and Gloucester, crossing Wales from North to South.
- CrossCountry, the most extensive railway in the country connects 100 stations from Aberdeen to Penzance, and from Stansted to Cardiff, with a main base in Birmingham.
In Germany:
- Prignitzer Eisenbahn offers service in North Renania – Westfalia, Brandenburg, Berlin and Mecklemburg- Western Pomerania.
- Regentalbahn manages railways in Bavaria, Thüringen and Saxony, with connections to the Czech Republic.
- Jointly with the Austrian operator Salzburg AG, Arriva offers routes between Freilassing and Berchtesgaden on the German-Austrian border.
- Osthannoversche Eisenbahnen operates rail connections in Lower Saxony.
In Holland:
- ArrivaTrein manages the trains in the north of the country in the regions of Friesland and Groningen, with connections between Dordrecht and Geldermalsen, and links to the German border.
In Denmark:
- Arriva is the supplier of rail passenger transport in the region of Jutland.
In Sweden:
- Arriva offers regional rail service in 47 stations of Skåne, in the south of the country.
In Poland:
- In association with PCC Rail, Arriva manages rail connections between 60 stations in the region of Kujawsko-Pomorskie, in the north of the country.
