Professional Qualifications
- More than 2,500 employees in the UK obtained their NVQ in the company over the last five years.
- More than 980 Danish drivers and 500 Swedish drivers have taken part in customer service courses.
- In Spain and Portugal, more than 1,000 professionals have undergone training in emergency driving techniques.
Training Centres
- Arriva has opened 24 centres in the UK. These centres are aimed at the professional development of its employees.
Postgraduate Courses for Directors
- Arriva has created a postgraduate course in Passenger Transport Management to select professionals with degrees from Germany, Holland, Sweden Denmark and Italy.
Staff surveys
- Employees express and evaluate their satisfaction and motivation in the company every two years with a survey.
